Narsinh Mehta

Narsinh Mehta was a 15th-century Indian poet-saint, not a film lyricist. He is revered as the first poet of the Gujarati language and is celebrated for his devotional lyrics called "bhajans," particularly "Vaishnava Jana To," which was Mahatma Gandhi's favorite.
